When the sun set on the 8th day of Sukkot there was much to be grateful for. It was a week of joy and laughter, and serious reflection. I sit here trying to put into a succinct paragraph all that transpired but suffice to say, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, our Abba, met with us, encouraged and refined us.
We were joined by a brother and sister from Western Australia - family in the Messiah that we just hadn't met yet. We look forward to meeting many more of Yeshua's community in the years to come!
We love to praise - I mean we really love to sing and shout His praises. We do our best to do as David instructs and maybe we're not as skilful or harmonious, but we certainly are joyful! The praise and teaching times were recorded to YouTube if you want a refresher. Like I said, we might not be polished in sound or technique, but we are uncompromising in our devotion to Him and His Word.
YHVH used the time we spent together at Hebron to reinforce His message that for us, the Healing to the Nations community, this was time for us to divest ourselves of any encumbrances and distractions so that we were free to serve in His kingdom.
Yeshua called Peter, Andrew, James and John to leave their boats and fishing business and follow Him. For us, the call to follow Yeshua is now - not tomorrow, not next year, but now.
We can pray "let Your kingdom come, let Your will be done", and take the first steps of obedience but the Master will lead us to total submission to His will. Only when we are emptied can He fill us.
There is a great need for men and women who are willing to lay down their lives for the sheep - to feed, nurture and protect them. We have been called to do just that and this calling was emphasised at Sukkot.
I felt our Father's delight and eagerness to be with us, just as we were to be with Him. This relationship of trust and transparency is developing and it is truly a joy. When obedience is a joy, then a life of service is not servitude, it is working in the Father's kingdom and receiving an eternal inheritance.
Sukkot is a time of prophetic importance, not some meaningless tradition. It is a divine appointment and as such YHVH has uninterrupted time to speak and for us to listen and respond. There is no revival without repentance and there is no repentance without conviction. Condemnation only brings shame and death, but conviction brings light and freedom.
Sukkot 2025 was a time of revival. Lives were changed and chains were broken. May the rivers of revival flow from His throne across our nation!
