According to the Pattern ....

Exodus 25:2, 9 Tell the sons of Israel to raise a contribution for Me; from every man whose heart moves him you shall raise my contribution. ...According to all that I am going to show you, the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furniture, just so you shall construct it. To be set apart is a privilege, not a constraint or a burden.  To experience the pleasure of YHVH, the shalom and life that comes from abiding in Him and living according to His instructions and statutes, is our manna, the daily sustenance and reward.  Each day as we consciously and actively focus on the goal that is in Yeshua the Messiah we are preparing for the millennial age of peace that He will usher in.  I, for one, at times are distracted by the cares and responsibilities of life, or the desire for the fleeting pleasures or goals of this world, but YHVH is so compassionate and understanding that He reminds and draws me back to the things that are of eternal significance. One thing

Reflections

2 Samuel 7:18  Then King David went in and sat before YHVH, and he said, "Who am I, Sovereign YHVH, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far?" There are times when it's good to look back and reflect on the journey thus far.  These moments highlight the provisions of YHVH, the encouragements of community, the lessons learnt and the growth we have experienced.  Who indeed is this little community family that YHVH would consider us and provide for us this way?  As part of this reflection of our Hebron journey I thought I'd pop up some photos of the journey - I think you'll be surprised when you look back at how the property looked when we first took ownership.  Some people have come and gone, goals and projects have evolved but what remains consistent is the original purpose and vision for Hebron.   From Anunaka to Hebron.  The previous name of the property was itself a sign to us, confirming the scripture that YHWH gave us as direc

Ravens & Eagles

It's such an awe-inspiring thing to watch the wedge-tailed eagles circling over Hebron's hills.  They don't always come and visit but on the weekend it was great to see them do their rounds.  I always feel very blessed to be living here to see YHWH's creatures come and go.  An old man 'roo took his time to watch me go about my chores and we discussed how great Hebron is looking and what our plans are for the future.  Well I discussed and he listened. Would love to say I took this photo but I didn't :) There's been quite a lot of bird activity lately and it's so rewarding to know that all the trees we've planted is creating a welcoming habitat.  There's been kestrels and magpies fighting over territory, a new bird that I haven't identified but has a lovely whistle, quails, swallows, willy wagtails, honey eaters, galahs, ravens, ducks, cockatoos, kookaburras, wattle birds, top knot pigeons, lorikeets, parrots and finches.

Sabbath for Sojourners

This last weekend we enjoyed sabbath at Hebron again.  These monthly times of gathering for worship on the sabbath, followed by a working bee on Sunday, are so enjoyable.  What makes keeping the sabbath so much more important as the years go by?  The prophetic significance of the coming reign of peace of the Messiah?  The blessings received?  The fact that it's the only day that was named?  Or perhaps the greater affinity we have for those things that gives YHWH pleasure.  Whatever the reason, I'm looking forward to the years ahead as we are continually changed, moulded and readied for that great Day. Hebron is part of that readying and as we maintain and develop the property we are in the process being maintained and developed as a fellowship and as individuals - such is the wisdom of our Father. Fellowship is the priority of Hebron and having some of us come up early and stay on Friday night was great.  There's nothing like chilling out after tea and chatting a
