In the next few weeks the festival days of Yom Teruah (Day of Trumpets), Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) and Sukkot (Tabernacles) will begin. These days have been set into the calendar from ancient times - never changing and never diminishing. Christianity often talks about the doctrines and traditions handed down from the 'church fathers' but Yehovah Almighty, our Father and Creator, demands - yes, demands - that we return to His ancient ways. We live such short lives so to wrap our heads around the ways of an omnipotent and eternal Creator can be difficult. But change we must! The last month or so Hebron has been undergoing a bit of change in preparation for the festivals also. An updated kitchen has been on the agenda for a long time so this will make our meal times and clean up much easier.
