Two-fold Increase

We have been blessed to have 11 lambs born to our 10 ewes, with a surprising majority of them being ewes.  A few of the ewes are too woolly so we'll be able to move those ones along and retain the ewe lambs in the flock.

Last Hebron weekend we tagged and vaccinated the lambs, and gave the ewes and ram a drench and shot as well.  The ram has been diligent in his role but unfortunately he's not the best looking specimen at the moment.  We'll keep him another year and move him on.
I've been adding to the little cubby town for the kids and Yakira gave the tee-pee a coat of paint.  Although I think maybe she enjoyed playing in the cubby!
We have a plan to develop the old chicken pen area into a lovely park area with little nooks to sit, meditate and enjoy the beauty of nature.

The first new planting was a little copse of silver birch.  Hebron has been transformed over the years from a blank slate to a lovely treed place of refuge.  Over the next few months we are looking forward to planting new gardens and installing the required infrastructure.

Hebron is our place of refuge and in the future I know it will welcome many more people to enjoy fellowship, be encouraged and meet with our Father YHVH.

With the uncertainty of how the weeks, months and years ahead will look like in regards to our ability to gather and the impact of world invents upon Messiah's qahal, we can be certain of His plans and the surety of His kingdom.

Yes, it's a narrow path but oh, it's lined with beauty, blessings and a promise of more than a two-fold increase - we will be joining a great crowd of witnesses that have gone before us and together we will see our Great Hope standing in Jerusalem and ruling with justice and righteous.  When we fix our eyes on Yeshua and allow His love and shalom to envelop us everything else in this world fades in comparison.

May YHVH, the Maker of heaven and earth, be always exalted in our lives and in our midst.

Joy Comes in the Morning

For over a year South Australia and Victoria have been in drought.  Dams are dry, crops have failed and trees are dying.   When the community bought the property 19 years ago we invested in sinking a bore to ensure water security.  The water quality is good enough to water the stock and our gardens.  We also have large rainwater tanks which have kept water to the house.  However, if the drought had of continued we would have hooked the house up to the bore water as well.    We had stored enough hay to feed our sheep and alpacas and they were well fed.  Investment in the infrastructure has been a big expense in both finances and labour over the years, but it's in years like this that it's well worth it.  It brings so much joy to see the green grass and gardens when the paddocks are bare and dry.   Praise YHVH, the rains came last week!   We have received 40ml over the last couple of weeks and more is on the...

Sheep of His Pasture

The guys have been out fixing fences so that our flock can move into the paddock.  The roos have a tendency to break fences and dig holes so it's an ongoing chore unfortunately.  Whilst it's rather nice to see them out in the paddocks, and to see when the joeys emerge from the pouch, it can be frustrating as well. Moving the flock into a different paddock is always one of my favourite things to do because you get to give them a closer check and they're always excited about going into a fresh paddock.   So late in the afternoon last Friday I thought, why not share it with you as well.  Enjoy a quick visit to Hebron and I pray that wherever you are, in whatever pasture our Father YHVH has you, that you are blessed and experiencing His overshadowing kindness.

Pesach 2025

It was such a blessing for our community to come together at Hebron  for the Pesach meal and the first day of unleavened bread.   We are not a big community in the Adelaide Hills but we are testifying that  Yeshua is the Messiah and walking in His ways.  There are so many individuals or families that don't have a Messianic fellowship that they can be part of because of geographic distances - or even theological distances.  Our desire is to see Messianic fellowships form and develop in many more parts of Australia so that the sheep of His pasture are fed, nurtured and protected. The Good News of Messiah and His kingdom has been hidden and misconstrued since the early times but the Ruach is revealing truth - the truth that sets His people free.      So as we come together in obedience to observe the moed, whether it's a couple here or a big fellowship over there, we are encouraged and built up in Him as we run the race that He has set before ...
