Gulliver leading in the flock
This weekend has been a lovely combination of fellowship and chores.  We brought in the flock and tagged, vaccinated and docked the lambs.  We had 14 new additions to the flock and all are looking happy and healthy.  After everyone had left I noticed that another ewe had a black lamb, so a total of 15 as of today.  We will attend to the next batch of lambs during August's working bee.  A major priority on our to-do list is to install yards so that handling the sheep is safer and more efficient.

Neal and a new addition
Working together on these working bee weekends provide opportunities for developing relationships and honing our personal characters so that Yehovah's Name is held high in us and amongst us.  Community is an ideal that most people would hold to and it's also a term that is bandied around freely.  Online community, suburban community or church community, we've all heard it or said it, but to live it is a challenging but very rewarding lifestyle.  As we become inter-dependent upon one another the fruits of the Ruach HaKodesh are given an opportunity to blossom and benefit the whole.

A simple chore of relocating a trampoline is easy with all hands on deck
We also celebrated Riley's 3rd birthday.  He's such a delight and loves coming up to Hebron.  May Yehovah, your good shepherd, bless and lead you Riley.

Happy 3rd birthday Riley!
After the cars had pulled out there was a beautiful rainbow reaching from the the top of the hill down to the front of the house.  It was a beautiful reminder that our Father's eye is on us.  An interesting number fact for Dad is that the rainbow is 42 degrees from the direction opposite the sun.

  1. Nice photos there Netty. Gotta love the rainbow! Was a great weekend, good working in teams and all that. And fellowshipping around music, song, the Word, and of course food. Thanks for taking the time to provide Shabbat meal for us all. How is your finger?? Has it stopped bleeding yet? shalom, Shark2

  2. Hi Annette, Thanks for this - I love the photo of the rainbow/fences/road. Great composition! Getting into my imagination a bit here but it makes me think of a 'road to possibilities' and your vision for Hebron. Seems I missed out on a great weekend - heard there was MUCH laughter! Lovely to see the photo of your grandson and daughter too.
Yehovah bless you in the work you're doing at Hebron. The community you've all built is amazing - building the farm and forging loving relationships - all glory to Him. Looking forward to next Sabbath with everyone - 'You guys rock' as the kids would say. Wendy xx

Unleavened Bread - 2024

For this small part of Yeshua's body, Healing to the Nations in South Australia, the last few months, including the past week of Pesach, has been ....well, different and unusual.  It has truly been a period of time where Father YHVH has been rooting and grounding us in His love, word and truth.  We gathered together at Hebron to keep the Pesach memorial and there was a stripping back.  No traditions, no add-ons, just Yeshua's Pesach and Yeshua's words.  The following day, the first day of Unleavened Bread, the Father's kindness and uncompromising truth was manifested amongst us.  It was truly a blessed time together.  Traditionally the week of unleavened bread will have an emphasis of dealing with the carnal ego, which is very apt, or the leaven of the pharisees, which is also very apt.  However, Paul emphasised that sin that is tolerated is also leaven that must be exposed and dealt with to ensure that the body of Yeshua is kadosh, which was emphasise...

Sukkot in the Adelaide Hills

With the autumn feasts upon us I was reflecting on Sukkot last year and how the year since has been full of YHVH's blessings and encouragements.   The HTTN community purchased the property nearly 19 years ago and we have worked hard to develop it.  There is still much to be done so that it can facilitate the purposes that YHVH wants for it but He has proven Himself faithful to His word over the years.  Not a minute too late, not a minute too soon.   We are looking forward to celebrating Yom Teruah next week and then Sukkot a few weeks later.  Hebron will once again be filled with the sound of shofars, singing and laughter.  Yes, there have been times of weeping and even then He proves Himself merciful and faithful. Hallelu Yah!

Shalom with Messiah

In a few weeks we will begin the next phase of the moed with Yom Teruah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot.  As with every year, we are eagerly anticipating this time with YHVH and the community in the Adelaide Hills.   One thing we say every year is that we long for the day when the wider Messianic community come together at Sukkot to celebrate with praise, feasting and fellowship.  It would seem that the Messianic community is relatively young and scattered in Australia and in the early days we would at times wonder if there was anyone else responding to the call to come out of the Christian church system and return to the ancient paths.  And of course there were and are. It's always so exciting when we meet another person or family who are on the same path and we can rejoice together.  We all have different stories, backgrounds and experiences but the common and binding truth is that YHVH is love and that love is expressed not only in His redemption but in the fullness o...
