What a blessed day of rejoicing and reflection. Messiah Yeshua came and will come again to rule from Jerusalem and dispense justice and righteousness, bringing peace and restoration for all of creation. Isn't the wisdom of Yehovah in establishing the cycle of feasts and set apart days marvellous! He's all too aware of our human frailties and the ever increasing need for His people to remain alert, prepared and able to give testimony to all mankind, so the annual cycle of feasts serve as a constant rehearsal and reminder.
May Israel, His chosen and set apart people, be blessed and provided for and may the light of their Messiah dawn in their hearts.
Here at Hebron it's preparation time for next week's Sukkot celebrations. I don't think I've ever been this excited and I'm so looking forward to the busyness, the celebrations and the fellowship. Each year we tweak and adjust what we do and how we do it, and I'm sure until we hear that heavenly shofar sound and see our Messiah return we will continue to tweak and adjust.
Spending a week together always brings its challenges but it's these very challenges that strengthen us and have the capacity to bind us closer together. I'm sure that the enemy of our souls prowls around seeking to bring distractions and discord especially during this season, but I'm also positive that the it's this very season that the work of the Ruach HaKodesh accomplishes much and produces the beautiful fruit of Yehovah.
Our little doe is still here and it's just lovely to see her moving about the paddock and venturing up close to the house, although whenever she catches sight of me she bounds off out of sight. I hope that she feels safe enough to remain here next week and everyone can see her happily browse in the paddock. Of course if she does get braver I'll probably be more concerned about what she's eating close to the house!
Shalom to all and looking forward to posting news and pictures from our time together during the feast of Sukkot.
