Receiving rain in season is one of those events that produces joy and gratitude in everyone. Rainfall is something we cannot control and therefore we are at the complete mercy of the Creator of heaven and earth; the One who is the source of all life. Therefore the only appropriate response to the life-giving rain is praise and thanks.
The last couple of weeks we were blessed to receive 74mm and the soil has responded by producing the first flush of green feed.

Over the next few working days we will be working on improving the fencing to assist the easy movement of the flock and to ensure the rams only have access to the ewes when we determine.
I will be heading off to Israel with John, Carol and Glenys in a few weeks so I'll be focusing on getting things ready to make sure the chickens keep laying and the garden keeps growing. It's always a wrench to leave Hebron but coming home is a real joy and blessing.
Part of the blessing of Hebron is being able to share it with my family and watch the grandkids enjoy the space and freedom to experience what YHVH has created and blessed us with.
Without this small fellowship Hebron would just be a block of land. It is the coming together to enjoy fellowship and celebrate the moed that brings Hebron alive. Developing it to be a source of provision is a great way to develop relationships with people who have a common faith in Yeshua as the Messiah and the Ruach HaKodesh uses these times together to hone our characters, unite our hearts and exalt the name of YHVH.
In our busy lives with increased stressors and responsibilities, having the ability and time to come aside at Hebron allows our spirits to be refreshed and our relationships to be nurtured.
Psalm 145: I will exalt you, my God the King;
I will praise your name for ever and ever.
and extol your name for ever and ever.
his greatness no one can fathom.
they tell of your mighty acts.
and I will meditate on your wonderful works.
and I will proclaim your great deeds.
and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
