To celebrate the Passover meal with friends old and new is a blessing we get to enjoy each year and being able to do so here at Hebron makes it even more special.
Rich with prophetic purpose and hope, this day gives us the opportunity to reflect on the miraculous redemption that is found in Yeshua, the Messiah. Thankfully the redemptive plan did not end with the death and resurrection of Yeshua, but we look forward to the day when He returns to Jerusalem, ushering in the reign of peace and righteousness.
Each year we gather to sit at the table with the elements of the passover meal - lamb, bitter herbs, unleavened bread and grape juice - and obediently uphold the message of torah. This message sets us apart from the nations of the world and the traditions of men, bringing its own reward of joy and shalom.
35 of us sat down to eat the passover meal and enjoy each other's company, as well as our own Hebron raised lamb. To be able to do so in our house makes it even that much more special. I think we could fit in another 15 or 20 people in our living room with a bit of clever arranging.
We read scripture, sang our praise, prayed and shared our hearts.

We are now in the week of unleavened bread and each day we are reminded to "Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are unleavened. For Messiah, our Passover, also has been sacrificed. Therefore let us celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth."
