Earlier this month I went away for a couple of weeks and the feeling of driving through the entrance gates and down the drive to my place of refuge was one of such immense relief and shalom. The busyness of travel, catching up friends and family, and being on the move takes its toll and my soul was in need of time at home.
We will also be fencing in the vegie patch area to keep the rabbits and roos from helping themselves. There are grand plans of redesigning the play area, chook pen and extra seating areas to provide a lovely spot to relax.
We are needing a break in the weather for some decent rains to arrive. This season we are share farming around 50 acres to produce hay so timely and good rains are needed.
One of the blessings of Hebron is that we are keenly aware that YHVH is the One who holds all things in His hand and it is to Him that we go to for wisdom and provision. As we do our best to uphold His torah we ask that He blesses us in the process.
Trying to explain to the young sharefarmers who are preparing the paddocks for sowing that we do not work the land on the weekly Shabbats or high Shabbats, but they could work the land on Easter Sunday and Monday was an interesting challenge!
We are gathering together this weekend so I'm looking forward to filling the place with song, laughter and the sounds of fellowship.
